This is the only means of disposing of an ELV in line with legal requirements, but it is a costly and expensive process undertaken by professionals. By law, you are required to arrange safe-depollution of your ELV and supply the relevant documentation and proof to the DVLA. This consists of the V5 document (also called the Logbook), and a Certificate of Destruction (or COD). We will provide these upon completion of the service.
